Dashboards give users the ability to drill down to vital information in their Folio instance. Dashboards are made up for snapshots, which are charts, graphs and other visualisations of information within Folio. A Dashboard can be a great entry point to exploring the wealth of information in Folio.
Folio provides two types of Dashboards, Builtin Dashboards and My Dashboards.
Builtin Dashboards
Folio has the following Builtin Dashboards:
- Home Dashboard, is the first Dashboard that a user lands on. It has important snapshots such as the To Do List, that is vital for users to know what they have to do in Folio. click to know more
- Risk Dashboard, this dashboard is key for risk users of Folio, it shows you snapshots such as the risk matrix and the risk gap. Exporting this dashboard as a PDF gives you instant Board Risk reports. click to know more
- Indicators Dashboard, This dashboard gives you the red, amber, green traffic lights of indicators. It is a key dashboard that lets you drill down to problem areas across the Organisation. click to know more
- Folios Dashboard, This dashboard enables you to drill down to particular Folio Templates and view metrics such as trend of New, Open and Closed Folios as well as bottle necks such as Overdue Approvals, Folio’s in a stage and more. click to know more
My Dashboards
The My Dashboards Feature requires at least 50 Full User Licenses.
My Dashboards are custom Dashboards that are either created by the user themselves or a Super User or Admin could create them and share them via a Dashboard access role to users who need to see them. My Dashboards can have any builtin snapshot or insight snapshot. click to know more.

- Adding and removing built-in snapshots and insight snapshots
- Many built-in snapshots can also be modified or duplicated using ‘Save As.
- The ability to move snapshots around with drag and drop
