Customising dashboards allows you to create a tailored dashboard experience for groups of users, with dashboard information that is most relevant to them. A super user can customise dashboards for different types of users using Dashboard Roles in Access Rights.
The Dashboard Role enables you to:
- Turn off particular Dashboards for groups of users
- Add or remove Snapshots and add Insight Snapshots on Dashboards.
- Use drag and drop to customise where snapshots appear on dashboards
- Super users can add Insights they made or Insights shared with them as Insight Snapshots
The benefits of customised dashboards include:
- The ability to create consistent visual Board and Management reports, using the Export to PDF Feature that is available on all Folio Dashboards.
- They can be used to remove unwanted snapshot clutter if you want particular users to only see particular snapshots
- They can also be used to remove any dashboards other than home for a particular groups of users. The home dashboard is not a removable dashboard.
