Folio now includes a built-in feature for contract variations management. The variations feature does the following:
- Creates an approval process for variations to contracts
- Updates the value and/or the end date of the original Folio record when the variation is approved.
- Keeps a record of every variation to the Original Folio record on the Variations tab of the Original Folio record.
- Generate a unique sequential variation number for every approved variation.

Checklist Scoring
The checklist scoring feature automatically calculates scores for responses to checklist questions. Responses can be highlighted with Green, Amber or Red Indicators and the overall checklist can also be classified based on these indicators too.
The Checklist Scoring feature allows a user to do the following:
- Define a score for an answer on a single or multi select question.
- Folio will calculate the total possible score for a checklist (by adding scores of all single & multi select questions in a checklist).
- Define question indicators (green, amber, red) for a single or multi select question. The question indicator thresholds are based on the score for that question.
- Define a checklist indicator (green, amber, red) for the whole checklist. The checklist indicator thresholds are based on the checklist score (expressed as a % ) that is achieved on the whole checklist.
- When a user completes a checklist question, the question will be given a score and an indicator.
- When the user completes the entire checklist, that checklist result will be given a checklist score and a checklist indicator.
- Checklist Questions with indicators will be displayed on the indicator dashboard along with the question score.
