Attachments on a Folio can be retired by anyone who has edit access to that Folio. Retiring the attachment means that it will no longer be visible on the Folio, unless the user goes to the Attachments tab and specifically filters for retired attachments.
Once the attachment has been retired it can then be permanently deleted by a Super User.
Note: On Draft Folios anyone with Edit Rights to the draft can delete attachments.
To retire an attachment go to the Folio with the attachment that you want to retire, then on the Details tab, scroll down to the attachment that you want to retire, then click on the gear wheel next to it and select Retire:
If you want to view the retired attachments, click on the Attachments tab for the Folio:
Then change the Status filter from Active to Retired:
You will then see a list of all of the retired attachments on this Folio. If you want to unretire one of these attachments, click on the gearwheel next to it and select unretire:
Note: This will only unretire the attachment and make it appear with the other Active attachments on the Attachments tab.
Note: If you are a Super User then you will also have the option to delete the retired attachment permanently from here.
If you have bulk access rights then you can also retire attachments in bulk from the Attachments tab of the Folio. To do this tick the boxes next to the attachments that you want to retire, then click on the Tools button and select Retire:
