The View Changes feature keeps track of changes made to fields in a Folio, and lets you view a timeline of when these changes were made and by who.
To view changes on a Folio navigate to the Folio you want to view changes for and on the Details tab there will be a button labelled View Changes:
When you have toggled View Changes you will see the avatars of the users who have made changes to each field
These icons indicate that a change has been made to this field since it was created (if there is no icon then the field has not been changed since the Folio was created).
Or on the right side of the screen there is a section labelled Changes Made By, that lists all of the users who have made changes to this Folio in order of most recent changes:
If you click on the icon next to a field name, a popup will appear that shows a timeline of all the changes made to that field:
If the field is a short or long text field, then underneath the previous changes will be a restore button:
Clicking on this will restore the data in the field back to that specific change. Additionally short and long text fields have a Highlight Changes button at the top of the popup:
Clicking on this will then highlight exactly what was added or removed between changes to that field, green for added and red for removed:
For Drafts the Track Changes feature works the same, the only difference is that there is no Changes Made By section on the right, instead there is a Collaborators section:
This is because the only way for other users to make changes to a draft is for them to be specifically invited as a Collaborator. If a collaborator has been invited but not yet made any changes then they will be labelled with No updates in the Collaborators section.
