Often you have a requirement to link Folios, for example:
- A contract might be a master contract and have subsidiary contracts related to it or 2 contracts may be related.
- A risk may have an incident associated with it
- A contract may have an incident associated with it
- A risk may relate to a contract
- Various risks may be inter-linked.
- A complaint may relate to a contract, risk or incident.
Folio provides you with a simple way to link these folios, to do this:
- Click on the link icon on the top of the Folio
- You will then see the Add Links popup, Type in the Folio box to find the related Folio item. The Folio selection box will show all folios by default. You can click the 'Open' or 'Closed' button to restrict the list to only open or closed folios, respectively.
- You can then define the relationship of the link- either Links to, Master of, Subsidiary to, Replace or is Replaced by.
- You can add a comment if you would like, but once your done click on Add.
- It will now be displayed as a linked Folio on both Folio items in the Linked Folio section at the bottom of the record.
- If you have multiple folios linked back to this one they will be segregated by template:
- You can click on a template name to view the linked Folios from that template, and use the Back button to go back to the list of templates:
- If the template has a risk assessment associated with it, then on the template list you will be able to see a breakdown of where each linked folio sits in your organisations risk chart:
- You can also just view all of the linked folios, or filter them by their relationship using the buttons at the top of the section:
- You can also link a new Folio from here by clicking on the plus button.
- You can also view the Linked Folios to your List view of Folios and your reporting. They appear as a column next to folio template column. A clickable number of linked Folios will then be displayed. These columns can be customised by clicking on the ellipsis under the search bar to reveal the configure columns option.
If you click on the linked Folios, a Linked Folio box will appear. Folio allows you to add up to 5 columns in the linked folios pop-up by clicking on the ellipses next to 'All linked folios'.
