These two snapshots are on the right hand side of the Folio Record, and tell you about the relationships the Folio has with other Folio records through Folio Lookup Fields.
Stack
Stack is visible on the right hand side of a folio record which has Folio Lookup field/s. Stack visually represents all the Lookup References of that Folio record and other records that it references or are referenced by it. It helps you understand relationships within your data and enables data analysis.
In the example below, a Client Incident has a Lookup Create link to Staff WHS Incidents. Staff WHS Incidents, in turn, link to Workers Compensation through a Lookup Create field, which further links to Return to Work Plans.
The arrow on the Stack indicates the relationship between the folio records.
Forward arrow means References:
References are all of the Records referenced on the current record.
Backward arrow means Referenced On:
Referenced On are all records where the current record is referenced.
Both sides arrow means Reference each other:
Reference each other means both records reference each other, i.e. they both exist on each other in a folio lookup field.
You can export the Stack to a PDF by clicking on the ‘Export’ option under Ellipsis.
References
The References Snapshot on a Folio record shows you all Lookup References by that record to other Folio records and all Lookup References to the current record by other Folio records.
Referenced On are all of the records that reference the current record.
References are all of the Records referenced on the current record.
You can click on the template card to view the records Key | Title :
The folios displayed in the Lookup Reference snapshot will display a 'Closed' label if they are closed.
Access Rules to view records on Stack & References Snapshot
- If a user does not have at least view rights to Source Folio records they will not see them in the Stack & References snapshots on the Target Folio records.
- For example if a user has access to Return to Work Plans template(target folio record) but not to the Client Incident(source folio record) then if he opens the Return to Work Plans record he will not see the Client Incident record on the Stack & References snapshots.
Configurable Export to PDF
The references snapshot can also be exported using the 'Configure & Export PDF' option available on the Folio record.
