This feature is only available with the policy & procedure add-on.
Updating Publishing Approvers
- A super user or a user with at least update rights to the document will be able to update publishing approvers on a Document.
- Please Note: A person responsible for the document will not be able to update the approvers if they do not have Document Access rights and are only the Person Responsible for the Document.
- There are two ways to update the approvers when a document is not requested for approval:
- You can click the edit icon and update the approvers listed under Publishing Approvers selection box:
- The other way is to click on the ellipses on the Publishing Approver widget to update approvers:
- If an approval is requested and the publishing approvers need to be changed. There are 2 options:
- You may cancel the approval and request again with new publishing approvers.
- OR , a super user or administrator can replace the publishing approvers from the user screen.
- Please Note: If the approver you are replacing has already approved the draft document then he will not get replaced on the approval request for that draft. Also you will not be able to replace an approver with another user who is already an approver on that document.
