On a Folio Template you are able to export the approval workflow structure. The export will include all of the stages, and all of the approvers in each stage.
Importing the workflow replaces all of the current stages in that template with the workflow on the exported file, so you are only able to import onto a template that has no folios in it.
Exporting Workflow
- Open the template you want to export the workflow from
- On the Details tab Click on the Ellipsis
- Click on Export Workflow
Importing Workflow
- On the details tab for the template you are wanting to upload the workflow to (that has not been used, otherwise you will not see the option) click on the ellipsis
- Click on Import Workflow
- Select the workflow json file you have downloaded from Folio and click import.
- If there are any errors with the import they will appear in a modal, you will need to fix any errors and then try importing again.

For the brackets in a stage the selected answer for the bracket cannot be found. To fix this you will need to add the answer to the single/multi select field used for setting up the approval rule in that stage. |

The custom approval rule is setup to have x to approve, but Folio can not find enough users to satisfy that rule |
