To create a risk template (or any template that needs to include a risk assessment function), you need to take the following steps -
- Click on the Admin Gearwheel and select Folio Templates
- Click on +Create Folio Template button
- Either select an existing template as a basis by clicking on Copy from Library (Folio has a standard Risk Template that you could use as a starting point) OR click on Create Your Own to create a brand new template.
- As with any other Folio template creation, you need to give your template a name (e.g Operational Risk), prefix (eg: OPR) and apply it to a category. You will also need to put in place the Stages - it may be that you want to include a Risk Identification phase and Risk Management phase with the Risk Manager providing the approval to move between the stages.
- To create Fields, click on Fields and add any new fields that you want to capture around the risk. To create the risk assessment, click on Add Risk Matrix.
- To edit the settings around the Risk Assessment, click on the name of the Risk Assessment field , then click on Edit Settings. For more information on editing your risk assessment settings, view How do I set up risk reviews and How do I set up notifications for changes in risk ratings?
TIP: When you are finished setting up your template, remember to click on to make it an Active template.
