Introduction
Note Types are a feature that enable you to categorise Folio notes. The default Note Types that Folio provides are Phone Call, Email and Meeting. Note Types are of particular benefit when filtering notes on a Folio, filtering notes on and entity or filtering the Folio Notes Report.
How do I add or remove Note Types
To add or remove Note Types first go to the Admin section by clicking on the gearwheel in the top-right of the screen, then select Note Types:
Then to add a new Note Type click on +New Note Type:
This will bring up a popup where you can fill in the name of the new Note Type and the colour you want to associate it with:
Once you are finished select Create. If you want to remove an existing Note Type click on the gearwheel to the right of the Types and select Deactivate:
