Certain roles can also have access restricted to only selected business units. This applies to access roles associated with:
- Folios
- Action Assignments
- Action Results
- Checklist Assignments
- Checklist Results.
You are able to select users who can see, Folios for example that are only for one or more selected business unit/s.
A practical example of how this can be used is when you only want a user to be able to see all Contracts and related Folios for their particular business unit and sub-business units (such as a Regional Manager only able to view Folios related to their Regional Office)
Once a user has been selected for a role, select the Business Unit/s that you wish to apply the role to (if you want this to include sub- business units, tick the Include Sub Business Units box). Alternatively select All Business Units, or Own Business Unit.
By default a user is given access to their own business unit and it's sub business units.


If you have a role with multiple users in it and you would like to add business unit access to multiple users at once you can do this by using the checkboxes to select the users and under Tools selecting Add Business Units:
