When Folio is first set up or when a new user comes on board, you are able to send them a Welcome Email either in bulk or individually.
Sending the Welcome email to an individual user
To send an email specifically to one new user, take the following steps:
Go to Users, click on the name of the user to view the user details.Click on Tools and select Send Welcome Email.
A pop up box will ask you to Confirm that you want to send the welcome email, click on Confirm to continue.
A message will then be displayed on the top of the screen notifying you that the Welcome Email has been successfully sent.
The Welcome email will look like this:
Sending the Welcome Email in bulk
To do this in Bulk, select all of the users that you want the Welcome Email to go to by ticking in the boxes in the User List (to select all, click on the box above).
Click on the Tools Wrench and select Send Welcome Email.
A pop up box will ask you to Confirm that you want to send the welcome email to the number of users selected, click on Confirm to continue.
A message will then be displayed on the top of the screen notifying you that the Welcome Email has been successfully sent.
Please note: Welcome Emails can be sent even when email notifications have been turned off in the Organisation settings.
