To add a new user in Folio, click on the Admin gear wheel and select users.
- Click on the + New User button
- Enter the user details - the mandatory fields are Name, Email and Business Unit. As an Administrator, you can set the user up as a full user or a lite user.
- You can either set up a password as an Administrator, or you can just create the user and they will get an email to set up their own password.
- You can add tags to the user which may help you find them in a search later on (for example you might want to put in their function)
- Click on Create
You can then send the user a Welcome Email so that they can set up their own password by clicking on the Tools button on their Details page and selecting Send Welcome Email:
TIP: If you have a large number of new users to add, you can import your users using the Import functionality instead.
Users can be given access rights by Adding Users to a Role or by Adding a User to a User Profile.
