On an Entity field or a Single Select or Multi-Select Entity Lookup, you can search for an entity by its name but there are scenarios where you might want to search on additional entity fields (e.g. ABN, Email, Address etc.). The Advanced Search for Entity feature enables you to search for the entity on more than one entity field. This feature lets you search on any entity fields which are visible on the Entity card.
On the Entity field dropdown list you will see a link Advanced Search:
On clicking the Advanced Search link you will see a Selected Filters modal where you can see the entity fields which are also visible on the entity card. You can then select the values on any of the visible fields to search for the Entity you are looking for.
On clicking the Apply button you will see the filtered list of entities based on the values you have selected on the filter modal.
From the list you can select the entity you want to add by ticking the checkboxes then clicking the Add button, the selected entity will be added to the entity field.
