You can set up a sign in page to your Folio instance from your organisations own website by whitelisting your domain in the Sign on and Security settings. Note: This feature must be enabled for your Folio instance before it can be used. To do this contact Folio Support at support@kwelasolutions.com, or at (02) 8283 3868.
To set this up click on the admin gearwheel in the top right, and then select Sign on and Security:
Then select Edit, and tick the box labelled Can sign in from other websites?:
This will bring up two extra fields:
- Web sites that can have a sign in form: Here you will need to enter the urls for your website(s) that are going to host a sign in page for your Folio instance.
- The minimal/bare-bones HTML code for the sign in form: This is the minimum amount of HTML needed to add a sign in page to your website. This can be edited by your IT team when adding the form.
When you are finished select Update.
Note: For extra security, Folio only accepts sign in requests from one of these web pages by checking the Origin HTTP Header. Older versions of some browsers might not send this header. In that case, Folio will check the Referer HTTP Header.
